Amen to this statement.
I could listen to anything Justin Vernon has ever created for the rest of my life and I would never complain. Especially Re: Stacks.

This is the view of the skyline from my work. The tower is known as ‘Rex’s Erection’ because of its creation circumstances and its creator. Rex Humbard, a famous televangelist of yesteryear was trying to create the ultimate worship experience in the little known town of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. This idea was to make a ‘Church of Tomorrow,’ which he did, and accompany it with a huge restaurant on top of the world. A novel idea, especially for such a quaint location. The problem is that Ole’ Rex ran out of money and decided to pack up and leave the area. The structure, though unfinished, is still standing and probably always will because of the cost to knock it down would be unnecessary and would take out the TV studio below it. I was thinking about this today. I came to two conclusions.
1. Rex should be proud because he was an innovator who did things that no one else would even think of. He will always be significant to the people of Akron, Ohio. Even if it is for an eyesore, he’s made his mark on the history of this place. Rex seemed to be a dreamer. We should all be so lucky to dream like this dude. Dream big. Even if you fail you’ve still built one of the most odd things anyone has ever seen.
2. Religion is dangerous. I hate to say it because of the flack I will get from people, but it’s what I believe. This thing costed millions of dollars to construct and has left somewhat of a burden on the people left behind to clean up this thing, if it ever will be scrapped. All of this was so that a televangelist could ‘bring people closer to God’. That’s an expensive meal though.. and people would have bought it because of the transcendent power of God, which Rex promised his future diners. There’s alot of money in God. To prove this point I will put one final picture, one that’s been getting alot of press lately. This is ‘Touchdown Jesus’ in between Cincinnati and Dayton off of I-75. It costed approximately $750,000. Imagine all of the good you could do with that. Well… In the ultimate irony, God smited Touchdown Jesus with a lightning bolt and now the motherfucker is rubble. (I know, a mallrats reference.) That actually made me really happy. I’ve driving by it too many times. It smells like hypocrisy.
My friend sent me this song. I love it. Can anyone tell me the score used behind it? 10 points if you do.

This is a song I was in the middle of writing a couple summers ago. I didn’t finish it with a solo or anything. but its a demo. Let me know what you think.
So today I was running while listening to pandora when it hit me. This music I was hearing was being beamed down from a satellite to a device attached to my arm. Then the information is encoded by the device and streamed into the music that I am hearing. All of this is being streamed in near cd quality and is able to stay with me while I run through trees and forests without stopping or needing to reload.. I’m not trying to sound like a hippy stoner or anything but my head literally exploded at this thought.
Since I’m new to tumblr this song is appropriate. I’d like to say hello and good day!
Good Day- Tally Hall
So I just came to the realization that my four years in college went even quicker than high school by far.. This place was great to me. I loved every second of it. And now the lease is up on the animal house and I am saying goodbye to college with a heavy heart. Words can’t really describe it accurately at all so I won’t try. All I’ll say is that was a damn good four years. Xavier, you really were amazing. People at Xavier, you were even better.
There. That’s about as emotional as I care to be on the subject on a blog.
I’m drunk in Cincinnati smoking a cigar and I absolutely love this place
